OH HAI HEALTHY LIVING!

I'm a semester away from graduating college & I don't need to rely on the campus dining hall anymore: starting Weight Watchers as of May 20, 2012. Seeking support :)

This first pic is like… argh… dont even know to begin explaining how miserable I was at that b-day. I was turning 21 and was soo unhappy I felt like a 35 year old and then the second pic I was 23 and honestly I’m feeling sooo alive :)
I’m almost at my 116lbs goal!
I feel and look so much younger!

One phrase that needs to die: “making excuses to be fat”

That implies that one needs permission to be fat.

No honey.

Fat people exist.

And you WILL give them basic human decency and respect.

I don’t need an excuse to be fat.

I exist as a fat person and my body is valid , regardless of if you find it appealing or not.

You WILL give them basic human decency and respect.

I am Queen Sassy of the Fatties and you’re gonna respect me.

5 months and 50 pounds later, I’m weighing in at 185 pounds. I’m 5’2” and have struggled for a long time, but I’m through struggling. It’s time to fight. :) This is one of my before and Durings. I’m almost halfway done, and not giving up yet. My fitblr is tomorrowsforme.tumblr.com.

TAKING CONTROL OF MY LIFE!!
SW: 116kg (255 lbs) CW: 77kg (169 lbs) GW: 60-65kg (132-143 lbs) Height: 5’5
I have been on this weightloss journey for 12 months now. Back in January 2012 something clicked in my head that I needed to change. I wasn’t happy within myself and this was when I chose to get into it and finally be successful with getting rid of that horrible weight. I have been “obese” since I can remember, and although I tried pretty much everything, I never seemed to be able to lose the weight and keep it off, but now that I look back, I really needed to mentally change first and in doing so, it put me in the right frame of mind to stick with it. Sure, i’ve had my slip ups here and there, but hey, thats life. I dont dwell on it, I just get straight back into it. How did I do it? Portion control eating, exercising 5 times a week, Will power and determination.
I always hear people say “ohhh i want to lose weight” etc but then they don’t do anything about it, or give up after a month. and that’s what I was like, but you have to want it BAD enough!! Results don’t happen over night, but they do happen ;)
I still have some way to go, but WE can do this!
I am confident when I say, that weight is never coming back!

omg this is incredible! and her dress is so cute!
